Scoring Cue for the Film “Advocate”
Scoring for film and TV is like the fifth Beatle – you don’t notice until it’s missing. Sir George Martin could always walk about freely without creating the screaming mob that exploded around those 4 other lads, but, the significant choices he made that defined the “Beatle-sound” helped create and support their emotional integrity recognized by their fans.
The same is true of writing a great score – there to support each emotion, action and ambience the director has captured visually without distracting the audience. Successfully composing a score or any audio cues for visual media is always –“The unsung hero of any production”.
